Yesterday marked one year since I started my new job in San Diego, and I’m still amazed at how quickly it all went. Everyone says the same, but I think you’re just so focused on staying afloat that you don’t really consider the ground you’re covering.

Life on the coast has treated me well, but I’m still getting adjusted. A year was enough time to lay down roots, meet friends, and re-establish a healthier and more active lifestyle. From there, only positive things can come – regardless of the hardships that life brings within the frame of a year.
